City life and NPCs are on the project schedule. I just need to work on a single large project at once to keep my brain going. They'll have a lot to say, trust me. Sometimes, even, it'll be useful. Inter-city travel will not be quite as safe by then... Nor will it be as easy as finding Ybaloth.
Classes now all may Learn their skills and spells by utilizing defensive Gems and a hefty sum of VP. This will also allow swift browsing of each class's overal skill rosters, and which color gems provide which skills.
All actors have been given higher ability scores by 1. I may have over- tuned the fights a minor amount. Hits are still really hard all the time but most of the wild "49s" should no longer appear. The tooltips project will also hopefully rectify many of the more esoteric qualities of the combat and upgrade systems.
Dashing has been enabled in all maps by common request, and no-dash will hence be reserved to specific scenes (don't worry about it for the demo, but the tutorial map will still have it for now for timing reasons).
Bone City on the exiled continent Syr is brutal territory. Besieged by all those things the ancient Titans let loose among the world. Its culture is unlike any other, always on the watch for threats to their unique diasporas. Can you give them a hand with their filter systems?
Libraries have been locked for the time being.
- I have some overhauling to do and they were merely placeholders until I could finish the tooltips megaproject. They will be where within you can learn about the elements, types, weaknesses, and the like. And a secret cache of treasures, maybe. Something nightmarish of course. In a good way.
So begins tooltipping.
- Added more trees to the tutorial.
- Increased information velocity versus fluff during tutorial combat.
- My behind-the-scenes notes all needed a cleanup. Everything will be much quicker about the tooltipping process now.
- Sizing tooltips is the fun part. /sarcasm
- Gems are now fully tooltipped inside the {Party Stocks}.
- Gems also have their help-bar text and colors. Help-bar text will be finalized for everything else after the tooltips. Workflow!
- Tooltipping the trinkets is complete too. 184 more entries. They needed the most clarification after Gems.
- Outfits down as well.
- Renamed certain gem-adjacent or gem-iniscent names to properly reflect themselves. Citrine skill gems are now Danubrites, the Limestones became Moonstones, and now all Prism Bracers are a kind of Quartz, so some changed. Smoky, Rose, Milky, Carnelian, Amethyst, Citrine, and Praseolite for black, rainbow, white, red, blue, yellow, and green respectively now.
- Grips are complete. All weapons and shields have their tips present now, explaining each's features inside {Party Stocks}.
- certain sizing and moving-around of things will come in the second pass on all items during help-bar text creation in the next step, as well as being colorized.
Bound spells are now different. Blessings now cause either an Ion or a Bead effect on battle members, depending on wether they are ally or enemy. The prior blessings eventually started making fights less possible as the game goes longer in their original functions. Casting does stack properly with the items that provide the same effects.
Forgot to add the tracks to Laketown. I had them, just forgot to put 'em in. They now play correctly, assuming everything else is working. MUSIC!

- Found by d757 gaming -(That pesky tutorial button got really fixed this time. Hopefully.)
-(World Seed should now remain in dialog boxes again instead of 0.)
